We are proud of our friendly and vibrant co-educational sixth form, where we will support you to achieve your very best and prepare you for life beyond school.
Teaching at The Holt is excellent; you will benefit from our subject specialists, their extensive subject knowledge and their drive to inspire you to enjoy and achieve in your chosen areas of study.
The Holt Sixth Form has a proven academic record; the A-level pass rate in 2023 was 98.9% with 33% A*-A and 63% A*-B. Throughout your time in the sixth form, we want to grow your self-confidence so you know you can do whatever you want with hard work, commitment and guidance.
The Holt will present you with unique opportunities to:
- Receive expert information, advice and guidance, which will allow you to progress to the best universities, apprenticeships or employment.
- Develop your communication, teamwork and leadership skills through the rich enrichment opportunities that we offer through clubs and competitions.
We warmly welcome applications from external students. To join the sixth form, students must achieve a minimum of five GCSEs grades 9-4. Each subject has specific entry requirements and many require a GCSE grade 6 in that subject or related subject. Please check the subject information for specific details. At The Holt all students will study three A-level subjects or the equivalent and our more able can study four A levels.
